Lighthouse

Sailing away on a ship that is not meant to be yours,
not easy, nor is it a simple matter to be explained.
But to turn back now would be impossible to do.

Standing alone on the bow of the ship,
You wave to all those you left behind,
And say goodbye.

You captain the sea below you,
And look to the sky above you as you call out to God,
im here now, take me as I am.

You were a captive let free,
A sailor at heart,
A man loved by many.

The waves beneath you, steady,
Your life a dream in reality,
Your family is a memory never forgotten.

You look to the horizon,
And ride into the sunset,
Sailing away in a ship thats not mean to be yours.

The boatman waits for you on the other side,
Go and sit with the one, who controls the sea,
Go and stand at the light house.

Guide us through the darkness.
Wait there for us,
Forever, in the light house.
