Whispers

They talk among you thinking your deaf thinking you couldn't encounter what they just said
thinking your too dumb to understand
they talk about things among you
and they hope you didn't hear
and pray that you weren't too close or weren't too near
you feel so alone when your in a room full of people who know more than you
and you drown in the whispers and the snicker among and inside of you
