Drink It Away

Alone in the world the next bottle is your soul,
It's all you have left but only 'cause you stole,
With those last few gulps you finally feel whole,
Warm and tingly, you're finally feel in control.

Alone on the corner with no place to go,
You take another sip and feel the warmth grow,
Its out and you through the bottle into the cold,
Your laughing as it tumbles through the snow.

Alone in the world with no body that cares,
You slowly tumble up and down the stairs,
Crash into the closet of dusty teddy bears,
Crawl into you're bed to say your prayers.

Alone in your dreams that are filled with tears,
About the life you had before living your worst fears,
Before you survived off of vodka and beers,
You could never go back to those exiting years.

Too much drunk pride,
Time had flown by,
He should have never died.
