Glitter

by Katie   Jun 18, 2007

There you are high and mighty

Sitting on your golden throne

Here I am, small and flighty

Your arrogance, contempt, it all has grown.

Your fake mask dazzles the world

But I know the truth- the real you

You get mad, and that is MY dream you'll hurl

The sad thing is that you know what you do.

You smile so sweetly when others watch

But as soon as they go you become troubled

And heaven forbid you getting caught

For then, your sweetness will double.

I just can't believe what you'd do

You'd do, act and be anything

Just so some attention would be paid to you

All attention must be paid to you
