Darkness of the Night

Full moon shining
shine so bright
cheering up
this dreadful night

all I heard was sorrow
all I felt was fear
But I stayed strong
never dropping a tear

The moon is here now
so I am safe
no one will hurt
now that I'm in place

Love me love me
my mother moon
I will come back
very soon

    ...Kinda catchy. Overall it's got a nice flow and rhyme but not my style. Words went well with this piece though I think it could have been a little more...um, pointed I guess. Still it fit this piece well. Short but not too short or too long.

    Terrific! Absoutly terrific! I have felt like this many times especially when I lost my nephew 4 months ago, but I stayed strong and helped my brother through it ( it was his son)! Your poem was very deep! Keep up the good work!
