Feather Boy

by Alvin Laberinto eNigmaa   Jun 19, 2007

The pain and the sorrow,
They say it'll go away tomorrow.
It's almost here, my final breath,
When I ascend to heaven after my death.

Wasteless the feeling I feel in my heart,
For right inside I am torn apart.
This ongoing hatred is almost ending,
My love is deforming, my joy is bending.

Today is the beginning of my new life,
After having taken in much of this strife.
Trade away my love for a pair of broken wings,
In which I could fly to a new hope that sings.

I'm just a feather boy,
Some sort of kid looking for joy,
But my feathers are my joy tonight,
I'll share it with you, when you come on my flight.
