Shackled

Shackled,
Shackled in these rusted chains,
Shackled in the chains of other people's stupidity,
Shackled in torment of stupidity spawn from love.
My heart is chained behind closed doors in a
dungeon of an abandoned castle.

In shackles of constant memory
comes a simple force of sorrow bonded together
with the strong, complex force of love. With two
forces of complexity my hands are bounded together,
chained to a cold stone wall were the only thoughts through
my head are the ones of memories I wish I could change.

Chained to a wall in shackles which only remind me of
the feelings I have for you. With scars bleeding inside while
I stay here chained up. The only key has been placed in
your hands and I wait here with my hands bound
waiting for you, with the key, to unlock these chains
and free me from these shackles of endless sorrow.

I'm still shackled,
Still shackled in these rusted chains,
Still shackled in the chains of other people's stupidity,
Still shackled in torment of stupidity spawn from love.
My heart is still chained behind closed doors waiting for you,
Waiting for you to free me from these rusted chains
of eternal pain and ignite a flame of immortal love.
I'm still waiting. but no longer as the sword in the stone.
