Dark

Everything around me is turning black
Who turned out the lights?
My heart is falling back.

I can’t see you,
Do you see me?
Oh wait, of course you can’t
Because the me you see is the me I pretend to be.

I’m a fake,
I’m pretend,
I lie about who I am.

Don’t want anyone to know,
How sad I really am,
That each night before I go to bed,
I wish that I were dead.

My prayer is to god,
Please take me home with you,
Don’t let me breath,
Just take me away form all this misery.

But the me you see is happy,
A fake smile from ear to ear,
When deep inside I’m yelling,
Please take away this fear.

Don’t give up on me,
Please find out where I am,
I’m lost inside the way,
It’s cold and dark and grey.

I’m starting to sink,’
It’s getting dizzy and hot,
This pain hurts too much,
Please baby just make it stop.

How do I find the light?
Why did you go away?
Please hurry back to me,
Before it’s too late!!
