Never Gone For Long

by Amanda Whisenant   Jun 19, 2007

If I died tomorrow, or if I died today
would you take a pleasure in putting me in my grave?

Would you smile sweetly at the thought of me underground? And would you be happier with me no longer around?

But you'll regret those thoughts, and you'll regret that smile, i'll dig my way out of here in a very short while.

You hated me for so long, and never even cared. All the things you put me through, and all the pain I had to bear.

I'm almost there now, I'm almost through, and when I do get out of here I'm coming after you.

You never should have messed with me, and you would have never had to know, that when someone puts me in my grave, I never stay gone for long.
