When things are going not as planned
you can count on me to be there to hold your hand
And though you may wonder and even ask why
I will simply smile and say cause your my guy

When you need to talk and maybe even cry
on my shoulder is where your head can lye
And if you get embarrassed I will simply say
you can cry on my shoulder any day

When people that are close turn their backs on you
you can always count on my love to always be true
And if you ever think that my love is a lie
I will tell you how I feel looking straight in your eyes

    I loved the last line and how you said "looking straight in your eyes"...those five words show complete honesty in a relationship...my boyfriend now always says "look me in the eye and say it"..to know that I'm being honest...I must say thats always important in a relationship, but obvisouly you know that!
    I thought this poem was so enjoyable because in three simple stanzas you showed your love very clearly! Nice write Cathy!
