She's Waiting

by Christie   Jun 19, 2007

Sitting, waiting, tears colliding,
With sadness on her face,
Empty sobbing, silence swapping,
With anger in its place.

Beaming, waiting, anxious yet thrilled,
With excitement on her face,
Nervous handshakes, noisily taking,
With happiness in its place.

Warm, encumbered, forever she'll trial,
While many others stand and wait,
Sweetness exuded in every corner,
But she's waiting for her mistake.
