I Loved You Once, Not Again

by Mike   Apr 22, 2004

I loved you once,
I can't love you again.
We loved each other then,
not now.
Until he came.
I send everything,
all of the blame, to you.
We started unattachable.
Now, you're never around.
Always uncomfortable.
Every time I see you,
I want you to die.
Everything I said was true.
Why couldn't you try?
I thought it meant something to you.
Guess not.
Now your heart is a dead sore.
And nothing more,
nothing more than this can be said,
but this,
I loved you once,
I can't do it again.
It was true love,
at least to me.
But you killed that dove,
that dove in my heart.
Our peace,
Gone.
