My Distant Light

by Ly   Jun 20, 2007

Trapped inside this insanity,
You're the silent love that I can't replace.
I know I am losing my mind, lost in this life,
But that's okay because all I need is to see your face.

It hurts so much knowing that this love won't be returned
It saddens me that you can't see me, that I can't be accepted.
But it doesn't matter how much I suffer
Your happiness is all I need to go on living.

Not everybody talks about their days.
Don't feel guilty, don't keep everything inside.
I'll be there for you even when I'm burned by the pain.
I'll free the feelings that you cannot hide.

But as I'm dying
My only light is dimming
You're walking away, out of my life.
Won't you at least say the last word, goodbye?
