Statistics

by briana   Jun 21, 2007

I am a stupid teenager w/ a baby
I wonder what I will become
I see from a different prospective than you
I want to live my life to the fullest
I am a teenager w/ a baby

I pretend to not care about what people say
I feel like a book judged by its cover
I don't understand why people stare?
I worry just like any other mother
I cry when my lil' prince gets a shot
I am a good teen aged mom.

I understand like all parents do
I say that I will be something in life
I dream of not being another statistic
I try my best & know I succeed
I hope you wont stare & judge anymore
I am a great proud parent

"I dream of not being another statistic"

Forget about statistics they are only a number. I truly believe that age too is only a number and the greatest gift any mother of any age can give to their child is love.

    Is this poem true?
    All the best!
