Be a poem

Poems are for the lovers,
spilling their heart into words.
Setting it up on a canvas,
using each word like a stroke of color.

It's a masterpiece being created,
but without pictures, nor shades.
But with plain words,
yet...are they plain?

Each word holds an adventure,
leading a different path.
You can twist and tangle them,
but not every can come together.

Like a hunter; poetry is made,
seeking the perfect word,
for the perfect phrase.
To keep a heart beating.

To keep something alive,
poetry is food for the lover.
The hunger for a single kiss,
can be sent with the perfect words.

But will you find the perfections?
Will you rid the odds?
Never, because every word is perfect,
but must be put perfectly.

So poems are for lovers,
because every person is perfect.
Each leading a different path,
but finding the right path is the question.

Be like a poem,
don't make a cliche,
over used and old.
Make the perfection.
