God Are You There?

There's this hole deep inside
That gets bigger everyday
My tears fall less and less each day
Coldness in my heart is setting in
Starting to feel numb again
Will this nightmare ever end
Then people say turn to God
He will help your heavy heart
So for days I prayed and prayed
But not one reply was recieved
So asked a question just for him
God, are you there? Again no reply
Or did he just give up on me
Am I the one he needed to forget
To make someone else see you
Am I the one you'll let die
And just forgewt about me as time goes by
God, are you there?
Can your hear the words I speak?
Or see the tears I weep?
Because right now itjust feels
Like my Lord, you forgotten me
I am in the shadows naked and cold
Looking for you God for me to hold
Not physically Of course
But if only to feel your warmth
But somehow I slipped through your fingers
Sorry to have bothered you
God, you aren't there for me
Because you've forgotten me
