I've reached the bottom.
There's nowhere else to run,
There's nowhere else to hide,
There's nowhere else to turn.
Just me and the truth,
Stood here facing each other
Across the void that is my mind.
Nothing to protect me from this now,
Nothing to save me from the finality
This truth will surely bring.
How did it come to this?
I wonder...
I started so high, so free, so happy,
With everything to live for.
Something changed.
I changed.
I fell, further and further,
The truth of myself followed always,
Chasing, getting closer with every second
Until I hit the bottom.
Now there's just me and it,
Left here to battle it out
To the death...
