Clipped With A Wish*

by Vintage   Jun 25, 2007

Daddy, can you hear me?
when I talk to you under the sky;
balloons clipped with my wishes
silently whispering goodbye.

Daddy, can you see me?
and the birthday cards throughout the years,
hoping that one day you'll read them,
ignoring the loneliness that appears.

Daddy, do you miss me?
while the other kids laugh and sneer;
I wish that I'm with you,
behind those broken tears.

Daddy, do you love me?
even though you're miles away,
she said you're gone forever,
forever in how many days?

    Wow Shu. This is really good. I like the way it asks 'Daddy do you ... ?' and changes each time. It's really sad =[ I love you. xx
