Matter Of Minutes

by Taryn   Jun 29, 2007

You were always there,
To prove that you cared.
You always told me you loved me,
But just plain friendly.
I never knew how this would turn out,
Who knew we would scream and shout.
In a matter of minutes,
Our friendship came to one big finish.
You betrayed my trust,
So what I did felt like a must.
Telling me that I don’t care,
And seeing you everywhere,
Creates more and more tears,
From this one huge fear.
That this will never end,
And that the same thing will happen again.
I want to forgive you,
I want this to be through.
You may read this,
And think it’s a bunch of bullshit.
But if you truly know me,
Sometime I need to say thing in poetry.
I don’t know what to do,
Because this isn’t something I can keep going through.
