Love on lies

A love built on lies
dies cold and fast
A heart once on fire
now turned to ice

Tormented tears
fall sadly to the floor
with her broken dreams
she's left to face the darkness

Promises of tomorrow
like the memories of the past
fade to what is now
the nothingness of today..
