Bewildered Truth

by Iola   Jun 30, 2007

The difference between truth and lies
May just be a phone call away
When I pop all our silly pies in the skies
Iâ??m dreading but hopefully awaiting that day

The moment of justice when we agree
How lessons were learned from our past
Letting go on a level of deeper degree
Heading in new directions fast

I wonder if breathing will come easily
As we realize our noble actions
Whilst the lives we are now living, seems to me
Are only pieces of us and frustrating fractions?

The joy on your face when you hold your first child
Will make me happy beyond compare
And although Iâ??ll be content and peacefully wild
I just wonâ??t be present that day to share

Letâ??s call onto honesty and lift the veils
Thatâ??s been haunting our craving minds
We can start over again without any trails
And leave the ghosts from our pasts behind
