Oh Daddy

by Morgan Brittany   Jul 2, 2007

I have no clue what to write,
I have no clue what to say,
but i can tell you your the one,
that for every night I pray.

How could you even question,
that I was or wasn't your kid,
I have your eyes and your hair,
and even the color of your skin.

Dad, how could you expect,
for me to trust you with my secrets,
when i found out the man i looked up to,
was an abusive stupid prick.

But my mom, she wasn't stupid,
she left your house fast,
and moved all four of us into a basement,
to raise us and forget the past.

You told her she wouldn't be wanted,
she had three kids, and her stomach wasn't so tight,
and what she wanted through the years,
was for you to not be right.

Well congrats, it was sadly true,
but i'd rather live with her,
than with your wife, two kids, and you.

I love her more than I'd ever love you,
And we're happy here, without a dad.
So the hell with you.
