When "Just Friends" Loses Its Meaning

by xXshotgunXx   Jul 7, 2007

We've been best friends forever,
Joined at the hip.
You're like my other half,
Without you I can't live.

You're the light of my world,
You brighten up my days.
You've always got my back,
I love you in so many ways.

I love the warmness in your heart,
How I get wrapped up in your smile.
The way you always make me laugh,
For you I'd walk one thousand miles.

I love the way you look at me,
It sends a shiver down my spine.
The hair on my arm stands on end,
And my world is suddenly fine.

I love the scent in the air as you walk by,
When your arm brushes mine slightly.
How you take my hand during a storm,
And then you smile at me brightly.

I love how you write the letter 's'
With an unintentional curl.
How you hug me when I'm sad,
Making me feel like the only one in the world.

I love the way you talk,
Especially how you say my name.
You say it like everyone else,
But somehow it's not the same.

I love all the jokes you tell,
Although I've heard them time and time again.
They still make me laugh,
That's just how it is with a friend.

I love how you put me first,
Before all the guys.
You want to make me happy,
That means a lot in my eyes.

I love how you're always there
Through all the good and the bad.
And know that I will forever cherish
All the great times we've had.

To the edge of the world and back
And still I wouldn't find someone better.
I need you to know how I feel,
That's why I'm writing this letter.

So look me in the eye
And let me just say,
That I've fallen for you hard
In every single way.
