The Razor Will Set Me Free

by Temptation   Jul 8, 2007

With a heavy heart, I have accepted how this will end
With a heavy heart, I have realized you won't bend
With a heavy heart, I smile and wish you good luck
With a heavy heart, I try and pull myself out of the muck

With tears in my eyes, I'll forget everything you've ever said
With tears in my eyes, I'll stop wishing her dead
With tears in my eyes, I'll pick my heart up from the floor
With tears in my eyes, I'll realize that we are no more

With a fake smile, I'll embrace her
With a fake smile, I'll know I can't replace her
With a fake smile, I'll hide my bitterness
With a fake smile, I'll clap when you kiss

With a razor in my hand, I'll finally be set free
With a razor in my hand, I'll finally be able to be me
With a razor in my hand, taking flight across my wrist. I'll know this was all for the best, for I will finally be able to get my rest
