Turn Around And Go Back

by devintwinkletoes   Jul 10, 2007

Restore a lost promise,
Mend a broken home,
Fix a bruised heart,
You don't know what went wrong.
Inside you're dying,
Outside all they see is you crying,
They tried to help you out,
But you pushed away and ran.
Stumbling over graves,
Tripping over lost souls,
Falling over an unburied body,
You begin to crawl towards the dark, gloomy forest.
You can't see what you're doing,
Feeling the ground to guide your way,
On a path unknown,
Just keep going you'll find a way out you say.
But believe me,
You need their help,
Keep going and you're bound to go over the edge,
If you care to save yourself,
You must go back,
Confront the demons of your past,
And bring them to your future.
