The hardest thing I've ever had to do was say goodbye to you.
for the longest time all i wanted to do was to see you,
so ever night i would go out side,
close my eyes tight and wish with all my might,
to see you just one more night.
When i sit and wish on that star,
your by my side no longer far.
I sit alone in the cold wishing you were here to hold.
When i close my eyes and let my wish go,
i pray you'll hear me and some how know.
No matter what you were there for me,
when my heart got broken,
when i needed support at a show,
or just when something bad happened.
you even comforted me when i was crying so hard i could barely see.
You always had a way to make me smile.
You did so much for everyone,
you always went that extra mile.
I want to say thank you for everything,
for coming to all my shows,
for driving me places i wanted to go,
for taking me shopping,
even though to some of your suggestions i said no.
That you most for everyday helping me be able to smile and be myself.
For supporting whatever i wanted to do.
For helping me and everyone else realize that happiness is true.
I want you to know that i love you,
and i will never forget you.
I can promise you grandma that no matter what goes on,
i will always love you from dusk till dawn.
No matter what happens,
no matter who rips my heart out,
no matter how many time they break it.
I promise you that just like from the start,
your love will be always written with permanent ink in my heart.
