Slumber

by Sarlee   Jul 11, 2007

Guess where I was today?
The doves lifted me away.

As I close my eyes,
It shields me from all the lies.

All the sorrow and anger escapes my chest,
As the doves lays me in their nest.

They sing me their sweet song,
And I close my eyes to say “so long.”

A kiss good bye,
But this was only a lie.

I slumber in the devil’s bed,
Sleeping in regret.
