I wish i could close the chapter
and say its a dream that wont come true
but through the day and night
all i can think about is you

i tried to close of my heart
ignore its yells it made
i tried to comfort my feelings
and hide my heart in the shade

i love you so deeply
that at times it does kill
because even through the pain
its you, who i want still

but it wouldn't work i heard
i nodded and said okay
a silent tear landed on my cheek
this seemed the best way
