My Cowboy

by HD   Jul 13, 2007

When you tip your hat and give me that smile
It makes my life so worthwhile
They way you look at me makes my heart go still
Inside, my feelings for you are quit real
As I watch you walk across the land,
My heart skips a beat when you lend me a hand
Your hands are calloused from all your hard work
Your eyes are twinkling and you smile that smirk
You are a dream come true, A night and shining armor
With that smile your such a charmer
On the outside you show a rough exterior.
In your heart you have so much love which is far more superior
I look deep into your smoky blue eyes,
As the sun sets in the western skies
You work all day from morning to night,
Then we sit on the porch and watch the lightning bugs take flight
As you hold me in your arms I am filled with so much joy,
Knowing that you are now and will forever be my Cowboy
