Nightmares

by Mallory   Jul 13, 2007

Every time I stop and think….
He is there.
Hiding deep down in my thoughts,
Sitting in a dusty corner of my brain.
I go to school, I sit at home.
Everywhere I go and every time I turn around
I’m painfully reminded of someone that isn’t there.
Every night, when I close my eyes,
He floods into my dreams.
He poisons them with his foolish ways
And doesn’t let me wake.
No longer am I safe and sound. No longer am I me.
He’s ruling my life, he’s crowding my thoughts
He’s taken over my own dreams.
No longer can I call them mine,
No longer are they dreams
No longer are they fun, with fairs.
No………They’re not………They’re my nightmares
