Sometimes

This poem is for a special friend.

Sometimes we are childish
Play games of all sorts
Sometimes we like to sing and play
And do things we know we can’t
Sometimes we’re both afraid
To be different to others
Even though we are
And sometimes we believe
In things that might not be true
But there is no sometimes
When we say
Friends forever
