Alice in the Dark

by RetroRavey   Jul 15, 2007

Alice sits on memories of dreams
Living in the world of the obscene.
Little miss lets the kitty grin,
Sitting on her toadstool as the world spins.

Let little Alice alone to dream,
Let her give in to everything.
Little miss lets the kitty grin,
But dare she let the whole world in?

Now Alice kiss the salt of earth goodbye,
She knows where we can learn to fly.
Little miss lets the kitty grin.
She lets life out and lets death in.

Sweet songs of dreams and meadow lark
This is my Alice in the dark.
