They get all the repercussions and none of the rewards
Just wanted to apologise to my friend
Who does everything my boyfriend should, and gets nothing in return

Im sorry I flirt with you, but I wont let you touch me
Im sorry I didnt spend more time with you when I was single, you were just so busy
Im sorry I wont let you in my bed, even though youre intentions are only cuddling

Im sorry that youre lonely, I am too
Im sorry that youre unhappy, I am too
Im sorry that youre worried, I am too
Im sorry that youre frustrated, I am too

Im sorry that Im glad were friends
Im sorry that Im glad youre here for me
Im sorry that Im glad youre there to hold my hand
Im sorry that Im glad youre here to look out for me

Im sorry that I miss you, but I need to give this a go
Im sorry that I need you there as a friend, but you need more
Im sorry that I message you with all my dilemmas
Im sorry that I give you all the head fuk, and none of the fun.

Im sorry for everything you do for me
But I know how much you do
And I appreciate it all even if you dont realise it

    This touched close to home for me. I had a friendship with a lady that was very similar. We were both married but became the best of friends. Others around us couldnt accept that we were just friends and the rumors got to much to bear so our friendship has pretty much disolved and my heart is broken.
