Shallow Pool

by Val   Jul 16, 2007

No matter where I am, who I am, I'm never enough. I'd give up myself to make you happy, I'm sure I proved that before. I told you I loved you and you said it back. I couldn't read your mind and I couldn't see inside, because if I did, I'd see you lied. You look at this girl and see she has it all. But when you look inside she's hollow as an empty pool. You'll look in that reflection and never see it all.
