He's Mine

by Stef   Jul 18, 2007

He's the car with the burnt out headlight I'm always first to see
He's the boy in the passenger seat, tapping his fingers to the beat
Of the music blaring from my stereo, while he's sitting next to me
He's the boy I'm always coming too, the home where I love to be.

He's the beeping of my cell phone while I'm in bed late at night
He's the "I love you baby" that makes everything seem alright
He's my teddy bear and my blanket, always wrapped around me tight
And he's the first to say I'm sorry every time I start a fight.

He's every free moment that I get, spent lying on his bed
He's each and every thought that's always running through my head
He's the quick solution for every wrong thing I've ever done or said
And he's the only one who's there on this road that's up ahead.

He's the summer and the winter and every season in between
He's the one who understands me when no one else knows what I mean
He's the laugh thats so contagious, the type of person I wish I could be
He's one hand flying out the passenger window, the other on my jeans.

He's the kiss that drives me crazy, the smile that I adore
He's the one who says I'm cute when I sleep, even if I snore
He's the hand thats always holding mine, no matter what's in store
And he's the only one who's ever made me feel this way before.

He's every hour on the clock, but there's never enough time
He's the simplest of moments, and the one's that are most divine
He's the smile on my face, he's the everything I thought I'd never find
He's all of this, and even more; but the best part is, he's mine.
