Heart Invunerable To The Rain

by Michael   Jul 18, 2007

This rain constantly pouring down on us
On day the storm has brewed because of our manners, the next because we care more for each other than ourselves
Your mother is a giant storm cloud trying to shadow and wash away our love
We will stand the test of time, hand in hand and heart in heart
She doesn't wish for our love to be nor realizes that caring for one's self more than the one they "love" doesn't desire the title of love
Since when does marriage exclude love outside a ring?
Our hearts together will stand against her wrath, and we will make this
The love we share, is an eternal one
Though we each have our own physical heart, we share one
My greatest pride, possession, and happiness comes from having you
You are everything to me
A three hundred mile trip, can't stop our love nor can she
I'll keep my promise of life as long as you're mine
For without you, that life bears no purpose, no meaning
And no future
You are my life, my future and some day my wife
