You allow your crimson eyes to show nothing...no emotion
Yet, at the same time, they are as deep as any ocean
Behind your walls you hide
In no one you confide

You stood up for what you did believe
But, at that time, getting shot was all you did achieve
That was the day you died..but that was not the end
The laws of nature she did bend

When you woke you laid yourself in a coffin and slept
And your heart wept
30 years you laid there
Remembering...dreaming...thinking this is your punishment...this is fair

Then you met Cloud and everyone
Who, at first, you did shun
But join them you did
And, after helping save the planet, you once again hid

After two more years you appear
You once again help your friends...then passes another year
Now a friend has called you
To your friends you stay true

Your demon you do hide
And, now, in a few you confide
Along with the friends you have found
You must eliminate the ones called Deepground

How long did you think your painful peace would last?
Now you must confront your hidden past
