Before You're Thin Enough

by Nicole   Jul 21, 2007

You look into the mirror
And stare at your reflection
Your eyes are dark, your face is pale
What happened to that once beautiful complexion?

You're standing there half naked
In your room all alone
All you see in that mirror is a sick, fat girl
Yet you're staring at skin and bones.

You can feel the dying hunger
But keep eating less and less
You don't realize now you can't control your own mind
And it's only causing you more stress.

Everyone but you can see it
That you're looking just like a twig
You go out in over-sized clothes
Because your jeans are all too big.

You feel in control and just won't quit
Although you do realize it's all so tough
But there is one thing you haven't realized yet...
That you'll be dead before you're ever thin enough.
