Laughter In The Night

by Dying Beautifully   Jul 22, 2007

Write messages back and forth,
Millions of dollars these words are worth.
Laugh at your smart remarks,
The one's that had started my sparks.
Giggle when you get confused,
Then I am reminded of getting bruised.
Change subject like crazy,
Head starts to remember and I get hazy.
Still I laugh at your sick jokes,
And we constantly give each other pokes.
I say something nasty,
You answer too fastly.
We do this over and over,
Talking to you is my cover.
Finally feel at ease,
Not talking to you is such a tease.
So I take the moments of laughter,
And think of them and remember what I am after.
