Brown Eyed Girl

by Zach Buenger   Jul 22, 2007

You may not smile
You may not laugh
But staring into your brown eyes,
Makes everything seem worth while

As I gaze into your eyes
I see through your disguise,
You want me to think that you don't care
But nothing lies worse, than the way you stare

Your eyes betray what you want to keep hidden
Loving me, you think is forbidden,
While keeping your feelings on the inside,
I see that loving me you will always hide

You think that I do not know
But your brown eyes are your biggest foe,

So I say one more time that your eyes betray you
Because as I walk by, we are locked in a stare like glue,
We both can't look away,
And although I know what your brown say
I cannot act upon what I feel,
I am cursed to stare into your brown eyes each and every day
My emotions I will forever conceal,

You may not smile
You may not laugh
But staring into your brown eyes,
Makes everything seem worth while
