Dont forget to pass it on

Don't forget to pass it on as the sun sets on his life and rises on my dawn
But my fate has been decided I was there for the decision
They care very little for his excuses that he was raised with no supervision
His personality means nothing it played no role in their acts
They cared very little about what he did with his life as he addressed them with the facts
I guess it's not what he did or didn't do that condemned him to hell
It was his own self heart that embodies him in his cell
I was there throughout my own trail although on the defense I was not
And although I wasn't being persecuted morally I was on the spot
I was there for my own conviction I stared into judgments eye
I was there for my own execution and I know where the souls of the damned lay
I didn't feel the pain of death because I wasn't the one being hurt
But I could still hear the agonizing screams as I buried the ones who could in the dirt
And so my fate has been decided and now you're here for my end
But beware you could face a similar situation for we all share the same sin
And now you can see your won trail although you'll be the one they try to convince
And you will see your own conviction although I'll be the one behind deaths fence
And you will see your own execution
Although I'll be the of screaming
And the images of me will remain with you even while you attempt dreaming
Now as the sun set on my life for now yours has just dawned
So take the knowledge I've expressed and don't forget to pass it on
