MY ADDICT

by allidoiswrite82   Jul 25, 2007

It calls out to him, yelling his name
Pleading for the sensation the rush in the veins
The excitement of the night
The flashing of the lights
His body thinks he needs it yet his brain can hardly cope
He battles within himself silently screaming for hope
It calls so much louder then any other voice he can hear
And its fueled by his self loathing and kept burning by the fires of fear
He yearns for the burn the trip the ride
He's blinded by the impulses, rationality pushed aside
He has been down this road five times just today
He's poisoned himself in a mutilating way
He's open the door for his mixture to invade
No walls to block no helpful aid
He feels he deserves this kind of pain
And fishes aimlessly for his next vein
To no other substance would he summit
This is volume 1 of my addict
