Her own world

by HarmonyLove   Jul 25, 2007

Once again her thoughts turn dark
though she tries to keep them pleasant
when asked whats wrong she has no remark
the girls pain is ever present

she tries to hide it all away
the sorrow kept deep within
growing more and more each day
she wonders what could have been

black lines streak her slender cheek
though she tell them shes alright
the cuts run deep, her future seems bleak
she finds a pen and begins to write

the words pour from her like crimson drops
she creates her own escape
she wishes it would never stop
as a world of her own begins to take shape
