Her eyes, blinded by his hands
but open is her ears, free to hear what she could see.
She admits to being naive
but that never stopped her from new knowledge.
Pain, in a form of tears stream down her blushed cheeks
but she'll pick herself up and start over to achieve it.
At night, she isn't able to close her eyes and sleep softly,
but she still can see him in her dreams.
With her eyes closed and her naive ways, he could lie to her,
but she believes in him to tell the truth.
Her eyes, full of all fears seems to stare blankly
but a glance at his eyes, she feels safe.
And if she were to fall, she wouldn't fear a thing
because he's now there to catch her.
