Life is a bumpy ride

There are times we cannot always be strong
All of us are trying to find in life where we belong
Sometimes that is up to you to decide
Life in many ways is a bumpy ride
At times we don't know where we are going to
But in your own heart you must believe in you
For people each day don't walk in your shoes
You have your own destination in which to chose
Some choices are not always going to be right
At times with our dreams and goals we sometimes lose sight
But life goes on whether we want it to
Always try in life to be proud of you
It isn't important if you are rich or drive a fancy car each day
What counts is what you feel in your heart about yourself today
We all in life have times of our happiness and our heartache
Sometimes feeling some decisions made are a mistake
But learning to forgive yourself is what is best to do
And to yourself try and always be true
Let the inner strength shine in you so bright and strong
Because life just has a way to carry us all along
Sometimes we just have to relax and slow down our pace
For life is not some kind of marathon race
Slow down and do things you enjoy
Even if it is the small and simple things that gives us joy
