I wish you could of been there
when I cried for the first time
and my eyes opened to see a new world
I wish you could of been there
to see your new baby girl.
To teach me how to walk and carry in your arms
and been the first one to hear me talk.
I don't understand what I did to you
you left me with no excuse
ran away from my life, when I needed you the most.
I wish you were here to read this
but like everything else,
with your absence....
you just missed it.
