Blissful Innocence

by Viola   Jul 31, 2007

A child swinging on a swing,
Back and forth,
On a slightly breezy afternoon,
With a bright smile on her face.

The waves of the ocean,
Making that soft calming sound,
On a bright and early morning,
Hitting the lazy shore ahead.

A beautiful tender butterfly,
Flapping its fragile wings,
Landing on a freshly bloomed rose,
At the break of dawn.

The stars glistening,
On a lovely summer night,
Accompanied by a full moon,
An array of lights in the sky.

How nature creates,
These lovely little sights,
To remind us all,
That blissful innocence,
Still excists in a harsh world.
