Three Simple Words

Just look me in the eyes and say it
I'd appreciate your honesty
Tell me those three simple words
So that I'd know you care for me
After all that we've been through
It is about time
I want to hear you say those words
So you can heal this fragile heart of mine
You leave me feeling
Alone and broken
With all the words
You left unspoken
Tell me what I want to hear
It will make all the difference
Speak those three simple words
And I promise that I'll listen
Relieve me of my misery
And dry my tears too
I don't want to feel this pain anymore
Or deal with the fear of losing you
I've opened myself up to you
And gave you all of me
Everytime I see you smile
I know I'm all you see
I know how you really feel
But you're afraid to show it
I love you and I've been waiting for so long
And you know it
I need to hear those three simple words
Being sincerely spoken to me
So look me in the eyes and say,
"I am sorry"

    Wow! You don't expect those three words at all. It's a very good piece. You can feel your longing for this person in every way. The only thing I suggest is working on your flow. Keeping your syllable count consistent so the reader has a smoother ride throughout. But overall....good piece!
