It's so hard to say goodbye
Because i already experienced the pain before
When you packed
But couldn't make it out the door
You wrote each of us a letter
Tried to convince us
It was for the better
I held the necklace you wore each day
You tried to tell me
It was all going to be okay
But nothing could stop the tears
From rolling down my face
You said my dad
Was just something you couldn't take
That all you needed was a break
I couldn't stand the thought
Of not being able to see your face
Not being able to smile or laugh
Because your the only one in my life that i have
But now your leaving
And this time it's forever
Now its time to say goodbye to the times
We were together
