I dont know why

I dont know why i thought this time would be different.
Your the same now as you were then.
I dont know why i believed everything you said to me.
You didnt mean it then and you dont now.
I dont know why i thought you really cared for me.
You didnt put the effort in then and you arent now.
I dont know why i trusted you.
You already showed me i couldnt.
I dont know why i thought i could rely on you.
Youve fallen through almost everytime.
I dont know why i thought you wouldnt hurt me.
You have the past two times.

But most of all..

I dont know why i took you back everytime...

But i do know that you arent going to hurt me again.

    When we find the one that our hearts cannot let go it seems that the brief happiness overtakes the pain that we know they are going to cause.

    This is so familiar to me on many levels and I know that just about everyone can relate.
